Who we Are and What We Do
The Kaimen Center is an open door to all children and adults where we can learn arts, athletics and academics. We specialize in inclusion for people of all abilities. No matter if a child is on the autism spectrum, has an extra chromosome, experiences life on wheels, or has learned to deal with the world through senses different from what others do, the Kaimen Center is a one stop location for fun:
- Instrumental and vocal music.
- Arts and Crafts
- Theatrical arts, musical theatre, and theatre movement.
- Dance: ballet, tap, and modern
- Gymnastics, tumbling, and trampoline.
- Aquatics: water fitness, swimming, and water safety..
- Tutoring: Math, Science, and Writing:
- Foreign Language
- Sign Language
Our staff have years of training in dealing with students of all abilities. Professionally developed in a national role model of inclusion, Break the Barriers, the founders of the Kaimen Center seek to create an environment that meets the needs of all children, whether they are labeled as having "special needs" or not. With the perspective that all people have value, the coaches at the Kaimen Center recognize that we are all good at some things and not good at other things which is one thing that brings us all together
